This African American patient selected 725 ml implants for her 110 lb frame. The patient was told prior to surgery that the breast implants were too large for her frame. She was also reminded that these large implants are more likely to create droop over time and thin out breast tissue over time, sometimes creating rippling. In addition, larger implants put the patient at greater risk for back and neck problems. She was counselled extensively on these items. The result is unbelievably good for any size implant, but particularly for such a large implant on such a small person.
