These are immediate preoperative and postoperative photos of a labial rejuvenation (labiaplasty). The patient desired a reduction of the labia to make them flat against the rest of her contours.  The labial reduction was performed in about 30 minutes under general anesthesia.  Although local anesthetic and sedation can be utilized, the sensitivity of the area precludes this combination in most patients.
